Los Angeles Acupuncturist – Serving Larchmont Village for over a Decade. WellStream Acupuncture is now located in Los Feliz Village.
PERSONAL BIO
I have pursued a creative life of art and music. After graduating from art college, I worked in the Fashion Industry, as an editorial illustrator, and as a Senior Entertainment Art Director. You’ve probably seen many of the movie posters I have created over two decades in that career!
I also enjoyed a side career as a professional bass player – recording and gigging with numerous LA rock bands. I also enjoyed performing and touring Europe as a multi-instrumentalist in an eclectic art ensemble with Radio Tokyo Studio engineer/producer and good friend, Ethan James.
My life has taken many turns, after all…the only Constant in Life is Change!
In 1997, I was faced with a major health challenge, which was the beginning of my pursuit of alternative medicine. After recovering fully from Stage IV Breast Cancer, I returned to advertising work. And it struck me – am I really here on this earth to make movie posters? I had a strong calling to enter a new art form – the healing arts.
Returning to college again, I entered the Master’s Program at Samra University to study Traditional Chinese Medicine. It was a grueling period of juggling crazy advertising hours while simultaneously getting a masters degree. Six years later, I graduated, passed the board exam the first try (with high marks), and received my license as an acupuncturist. I immediately resigned from my agency job, and opened my clinic in Larchmont Village. I am committed to helping others in their own healing journey to optimal health and wellness through the art of traditional asian medicine and acupuncture. Feel Like Yourself Again!
